Annual General Meeting
Thursday November 20, 2008 7 to 9 pm in the CPHS Cafetorium 215 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place, ON
The theme for Restorative Justice Week 2008 (Nov 16- 23) is "Fostering A Restorative Worldview". Albert Dumont, a Traditional Teacher and Poet who was born & raised in Algonquin territory will speak with us, following which staff & volunteers will be presenting a Mock Community Justice Forum. All interested community members are invited to come and see Restorative Justice in action. An important part of the Forum process includes the sharing of food, and we hope you'll stay for refreshments and speak with our volunteers about LCCJP and Restorative Justice initiatives in our community, and the business portion of the meeting.
Annual memberships will be available at a cost of $5 if you'd like to vote at the meeting.
If you are interested in volunteering with our program, a sign-up sheet will be available. We are also always grateful for monetary support, and issue tax-deductible receipts for any donations received.
