2022 Perth Polar Bear Plunge For Lanark County Community Justice
Perth Polar Bear Plunge 2022
The Polar Bear Plunge is an annual event held on January 1st to raise money for local charities. It takes place at 10am in the Tay River, next to the Perth Legion, where participants jump into the river to raise money for local charities. The Perth Polar Bear Plunge has been going for 27 years and supports a different community group each year. To date, the Polar Bear Plunge has raised over $340,000.
Lanark County Community Justice is the recipient for the next Perth Polar Bear Plunge. Join this exciting initiative as a volunteer, take the plunge, join a team or donate.
This event will comply with all local health unit and provincial COVID 19 regulations and guidelines. We will set protocols for plungers, spectators and volunteers much closer to the event, likely in mid-November. One way or another, though, the plunge will happen on January 1.
Thank you for your support on this initiative! If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering at the event itself, please contact Alfred Von Mirbach at: vonmirbach.alfred@
