Dear Students, Parents, Teachers, Support Staff,  Administration, and the greater community of St.John Catholic High School, past and present:

Lanark County Community Justice supports the efforts by the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario and St. John Catholic High School to bring this professional team together in an effort to support students, families, teachers and the community. We are committed to being a resource and providing the assistance needed in order to help with healing.

We, like many, understand how difficult it is to unpack the multiple layers of healing that is required. As a result, we were honoured to be engaged by the CDSBEO in a dialogue to build a coordinated response. The response will include strategies to rebuild, acknowledge and engage in a healing process for victims, families, teachers and community.

The partnership between the CDSBEO, community agencies, and trauma-informed care specialists will also inform further education and training.
Services are available now for anyone needing support. As this process grows and evolves, more information will be provided.
Sincerely,

Joellen McHard

Executive Director
