Parenting is one of the hardest jobs any of us will ever have. It can also be the most rewarding, but it doesn't always feel that way. Restorative Parenting of Teens can help. We offer a 4 week interactive sessions in a group setting with other parents and the co-facilitators. Our Restorative Parenting Program is funded by the County of Lanark and the Perth and District Community Foundation.
This is not a program that will judge your parenting or tell you what to do, as if we were the expert on your family. We view parents as equal partners in figuring out what will work best for each family. We support you to try a different way of connecting, of repairing past harms in your relationship and collaborating to find a new way to move forward together. Some of the topics include emotional communication, having difficult conversations, peaceful conflict resolution and collaborating on finding solutions that will work for you. This initiative is made possible in part by the financial support of the Perth and District Community Foundation and the County of Lanark You can find more information about upcoming Restorative Parenting sessions on our Restorative Families page.
